Foi criada em Janeiro de 2026 e \u00e9 publicada pelas i2ADS Edi\u00e7\u00f5es e pelo Doutoramento em Artes Pl\u00e1sticas da Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ISSN\u00a03051-7818<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Publication policy and procedures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Journal <strong>Understatement<\/strong> is dedicated to the publication of work produced by students and recent graduates of the DAP. It accepts work in one of the following categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Artigos\/papers<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em> Escritos de artista\/Artist&#8217;s Writings<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em> Ensaios Visuais\/Visual essays<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Accepted languages: Portuguese, English, Galician, Spanish<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>At least one of the authors must be a DAP student or have completed their PhD less than 6 months ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the comprehensive and open nature of our PhD programme, we accept all types of work, but we particularly encourage the submission of work related to ongoing PhD projects, most of which are based on the students' own artistic practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Understatement has an Editorial Board responsible for coordinating the publication and giving final approval to all published works. The advisory board is responsible for reviewing works to be published and inviting students to submit their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O Understatement tem um Conselho Editorial a quem cabe a coordena\u00e7\u00e3o editorial da publica\u00e7\u00e3o e a valida\u00e7\u00e3o final de todos os trabalhos publicados. Ao conselho consultivo cabe a revis\u00e3o dos trabalhos a publicar e o eventual convite a estudantes para a submiss\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once submitted, all works must be approved by at least two members of these councils. One of these individuals will be designated as responsible for editing and monitoring the publication of the submitted work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Submissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals should be submitted here:<br><a href=\" https:\/\/forms.gle\/ZPFEVnDdrMNn7dqS7\"> https:\/\/forms.gle\/ZPFEVnDdrMNn7dqS7<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Text and images organised in a single PDF file.
